Date Paste
Ingredients 1 cup pitted dates water Method 1. Place the dates in a bowl and pour as much water on top as it covers all of them. Soak for 3-4 hours. 2. When the dates are soft enough, strain them and blend in a food processor or blender until smooth. 3. Keep it refridgerated in an airtight container for up to 7 days.


Roasted red pepper spread
This roasted red pepper spread is fantastic! Even as the peppers are roasting and their scent goes through the entire apartment, I can’t wait for it to get done and have a little bit of it. It's texture is amazingly soft and creamy and it can be used in many ways. You can eat it spread on bread, mixed with cooked spaghetti pasta, or you can use it as a dip with crispy tortilla chips and veggie sticks.
